The Creative Mindset

I’ve previously talked about my passion for creating things. Being in the creative mode is immensely satisfying for me. I find myself thinking and planning and writing for hours on end and late into the night — it is currently 00:30am and my brain is still running wild.

I love taking an idea from start to finish and seeing it come to LIFE out of my hands. What gives me joy is the process of creating them.

In the past my creativity was confined to physical things: cooking, interior decoration, putting outfits together, putting on makeup, arts and crafts. But now it has taken a new form since I found an online community and a different way to express myself.

I grew an idea from a seed into fruition and even though our blog and online presence is still small, already I have put countless hours into making and editing videos, copywriting, editing audio files, planning content, learning about marketing and very soon we will be starting a brand new adventure that I am super excited to share with you!

This month, we will be launching our podcast which are interviews with people that have successfully switched careers. Just like our “How They Did It” series on this blog, these interviews are going to be the recorded conversations between ourselves and the guests, who are generous enough to share their wisdom and lessons related to career changes. Some are serial career changers and all of them share what they can branch out to next with us! This tells me that career changes become easier after the first try and we are always becoming the next version of ourselves. Their stories are fascinating and I cannot wait to share them with you.
